Here’s a recipe of how to make healthy and nutritious momos without using refined flour (maida).
Ingredients: Cabbage, carrot, ginger, onion, garlic, chilli, green onion, soya sauce and vinegar.
Step 1: Take a cabbage and cut it from stem side. Put it in boiling water and blanch it for few minutes.
Step 2: Peel the cabbage leaves and keep them on a plate.
Step 3: Now prepare a stuffing, for which saute all the veggies in a pan and put some soya sauce and vinegar and few spices as per your taste. Once the stuffing is prepared, keep it aside and let it cool.
Step 4: Place a cabbage leaf on a flat surface and put the prepared stuffing inside it. Roll up the leaf properly. Repeat this process for all the rolls.
Step 5: Put the cabbage rolls in a steamer and let it cook.
