How to Grow Jasmine at Home in 6 Simple Steps

First, choose a jasmine variety that will grow well in your area. To make sure the roots have space to grow, choose a container that is at least 12 inches deep.  

Use a well-draining potting mix enriched with organic matter. This type of soil will provide the necessary nutrients while helping retain moisture for your jasmine plant.

Find a sunny spot with good air circulation. Jasmine thrives in well-draining soil, so make sure the area you choose doesn’t hold excess water.

Place the jasmine plant in the centre of the pot, making sure to spread the roots out evenly. This promotes better growth and stability.

Make sure the soil is continually moist, but not waterlogged, by watering your jasmine on a regular basis. To promote healthy growth during the growing season, fertilise every four to six weeks with a balanced fertiliser.

In order to keep your jasmine plant healthy and vibrant, trim it occasionally to promote bushier growth and to get rid of any dead or weak stems.
