Unique Habitats

The Indian Peacock tend to live near water sources, often inhabiting deciduous forests throughout the Indian peninsula.

A peacock's diet includes flower petals, seeds, plants, insects, reptiles (including snakes), and amphibians.

Bigger The Better

The purpose of their stunning feather is primarily to attract peahens. Scientists observed that the offspring with impressive plumage tend to be larger at birth and grow into healthier birds.
