Ram Amancha is the CEO and Founder of Trovend Technology, aimed at creating innovative products for people and providing app-development services. With an experience of 16 plus years in the field of Information Technology, he continues to bring about new innovations.
After pursuing his Masters in Chennai and working with Cognizant for a year, Mr. Ram Amancha moved to the U.S. and worked there for 8 years. He says, “The entrepreneurial bug was always there. After working at some places, I finally decided to start my own company.”
Mr. Amancha’s friends and contacts in the U.S. helped him gain that initial momentum, and soon he decided to collab with two of his fellow business centre partners thus, bringing about Trovend Technology in 2016.
There were multiple hurdles in their initial stages with Trovend. Most of the product pitches would not get funding, but Mr. Amancha and his team kept on improving their methods and came up with new ideas.
They moved back to providing services, focusing on the U.S. based as well as Indian. The idea for products were always going on in their minds and they successfully launched two products. BTL Assist which helps in capturing the location, the person and the time-stamp of the BTL promotional set-up so that when you log-in, you can see where the branding is done.
Another product which was launched due to the COVID-10 pandemic is Digital Menu which provides menu viewing using QR scan, resulting in safer social measures. All the customer will have to do is to scan the QR code to see the menu. They are expanding this product to other countries as well, and about 17 have adapted it at present.
With BTL assist, it is about live tracking. None of the existing providers are giving this service, they are first to introduce live tracking for BTL activities.
Digital Menu is a concept which quite a few people are using. Trovend’s USP is its great pricing for quality products.
Everything is online. All the details and procedure guide are available on the website. Trovend offers two versions to their customers- basic and dynamic. At the end of the process, the customer can get a preview of the final product so they can make their purchase accordingly. They also offer a free trial option.
Mr. Amancha mentions “My goal is to see India wealthy again. If I work in a job, I cannot do this. Being an entrepreneur allows me to create jobs and products which will ultimately help with generating revenue.” Although he believes that this idea and aim of his requires a group effort for the journey. In India especially, most parents don’t encourage entrepreneurship because it is risky.
