  • Dawn of the Dead (1978)

When a zombified neighbor assaults her boyfriend, Ana (the main character) successfully managed to escape the premises, only to realize that her whole neighborhood has been attacked by the creepy zombies. After being vigorously interrogated by a diligent policeman named Kenneth, Ana smartly joins his force of a few people who carefully navigate their way to a local shopping mall, in an attempt to stay safe. 

As soon as they successfully convince the skeptical security guards that they really are not carrying the zombie germs, the small group gets together to fight the walking dead. A very interesting film that will keep you hooked throughout. 

  • Halloween (1978)

On a chilly Halloween night in the year 1963, a little boy (six years of age) named Michael mercilessly kills his teenage sister called Judith. Because of this very grim act, he was punished and locked away in prison for over 15 years. 

However, on October 30, 1978, while being shifted for an already set court date, this twenty-one-year-old boy cleverly steals a nearby car and very smartly escapes Smith’s Grove. After engaging in this act, he reached his peaceful hometown in Illinois and starts searching for his next victims.
